romans 8:35-39

WIN_20170719_15_23_56_Procan anything separate us from God’s love?

does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity or are persecuted or hungry or destitute or in danger or threatened with death?

as the scriptures say for your sake we are killed every day we are being slaughtered like sheep.

no despite all these things overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us.

and I am convinced that nothing can separate us from God’s love.

neither death nor life neither angels nor demons neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

no power in the sky above or in the earth below indeed nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

nothing can separate us from God’s love or even His presence cos even in the depths of hell He is there but sin can build a wall between us and the richness and fullness of God’s eternal blessings as well of course as being a guaranteed ticket that no one wants to an everlasting torture chamber brought about by the consequences of our own selfish actions.

we may often fool ourselves into judging the character and nature of God by our circumstances but who God is doesn’t change with the weather and neither should we be fair weathered friends to Him if we claim to truly love Him with all our heart soul and strength.

just because we have been waiting in the wings for a breakthrough or seen our prayers go unanswered the way we wish them to be answered that doesn’t negate His ability to work miracles or step in and intervene on our behalf and it doesn’t mean we are in His bad books if He allows us to suffer or die or get sick .

if He takes us to heaven that is actually an expression of HIs mercy not HIs wrath.

His power and grace are made most evident in our moments of weakness.

He is our source of comfort during times of trial when life tries us and puts us through the wringer.

He has promised in His word that when we get to heaven He shall wipe away every tear from our eyes.

unlike us as humans He never fails to deliver on His promises.

it is a sad but true fact that people all around the world are being persecuted for the sake of the gospel.

if you are not familiar with open doors voice of the martyrs or Michael youssefs charity help the persecuted please get acquainted with them.

they will open your eyes to the horrors Christians are facing in our world not just from muslim terrorists as is often spotlighted in the media but also by hindu extremists and others who lie to themselves that they are not able to peacefully coexist with other religions or attempt to convert using their mouths.

still one thing we know for sure of our faith in Jesus the more they kill us the stronger it makes the body of Christ.

it has been said what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger but in the case of those who lay down their lives for the glory of God the more the death toll and body count increases the greater the influence of the church spreads and the more the body of Christ increases.

this has always been proven to be the case.

slavery of Christians both African American and the original Slavic slaves taken prisoner working as sex slaves in muslim harems or building mosques has not dampened our enthusiasm for Jesus one bit nor stopped His love from spreading around the world.

the reason for this is the culture of Christ is counter culture to the world.

you cannot eradicate it though you may attempt to squash it, distort it or muffle it.

it is a roaring fire inside our hearts and a lamp that will never be snuffed out.

it is an eternal flame that we cannot keep shut inside our bones but leaps for joy within us with a holy righteous anger when we see our brothers and sisters in Christ suffer for the sake of the gospel and it stirs within us a zeal to walk in the opposite spirit and be more vigilant in adding daily to the number of those being saved.

we are promised victory and the assurance of Christ’s enduring love.

this is why we cling to victory despite temporary setbacks and defeat because to know He loves us and has a home waiting for us in heaven beyond the gates of death is our glorious motivation our cup of living water that will never run dry our ever flowing source of inspiration poured from HIs mouth into our hearts.

never let the devil lie to you that you are beyond God’s reach.

if you are believing that lie call right now to the name of Jesus who is able to save you from any crooked situation.

we can never stray so far from God that His fingers cannot reach us.

we often look for the love of God in other false sources but we look in vain.

it is only in Christ Jesus Lord and saviour of the world that we are able to  connect with any kind of higher power or life source and we know He is more than a source or a force He is personal corporate and universal father son and HOly Spirit hope in every passing moment .
